Congratulations to all of the RSS fellows elected into the Royal Society, the US-based National Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Medical Sciences.
As of May 2018, RSS fellows Nancy Reid, Phil Dawid and John Speakman are three of 50 fellows elected this year to the Royal Society (FRS); Simon Tavaré and Trevor Hastie have been elected - as a foreign associate and member respectively - to the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS); and Paula Williamson and Mark Woodward were announced as being elected to the Academy of Medical Sciences (AcMedSci).
