The Society held its 183rd Annual General Meeting in Glasgow on 5 September. This was the second year that the AGM has been held during the RSS Conference, in order to make it easier for members to attend and participate. RSS president Sir David Spiegelhalter chaired the meeting and was joined by RSS executive director Hetan Shah.
Fellows agreed an increase in the basic subscription rate from £135 to £138 per annum. The full minutes of the meeting are available as a download (PDF).
David Spiegelhalter also announced the names of the five candidates who had successfully passed their Graduate Diplomas in the past year, one of whom had achieved a Distinction.
